Suzanne has specialist postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology and has experience working in both the public and private mental health sectors. Her areas of experience include treating individuals with serious mental health issues including psychosis, mood disorders, and personality disorders. She also has an interest in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depression, adjustment issues, as well as a special interest in trauma work. Suzanne provides treatment within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework, as well as Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma. Her treatment approaches not only aim to help individuals develop effective strategies to cope with a range of life’s challenges but to also assist them to create a rich, valued and meaningful life despite them. As part of her treatment approach Suzanne endeavors to create a safe therapeutic relationship in which individuals feel respected and heard.
