OUR CARDIAC DIAGNOSTIC SERVICE TESTS INCLUDE:
Analysis of heart rhythm and blood pressure is essential for diagnosing and treating patients with heart diseases and rhythm distractions
TRANSTHORACIC ECHOCARDIOGRAM:
- Ultrasound images of your heart is taken at rest
- No need for any special preparation
- Time required: 45 – 60 minutes
TREADMILL STRESS ECHOCARDIOGRAM:
- This test involves an echocardiogram and exercise stress test
- The patients are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for exercise
- Ultrasound images of your heart is taken before and after exercise
- Specific medications are restricted to be taken 8 hours prior to the test
- Time required 1 to 1.5 hours
TREADMILL EXERCISE STRESS ECG TEST:
- Comfortable clothing and walking shoes suitable for exercise must be worn
- Check with your doctor to find out if any medication has to be stopped before taking the test.
- Time required: 30 minutes
HOLTER MONITORING & BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING:
- Holter monitor is attached to your chest and waist to record the electrical activity of the heart for 24 hours or one week, as required.
- Ambulatory monitoring is done to record your blood pressure for 24 hours.
- Normal activities such as shopping and working can be carried out
- Time required: 20 minutes
