Dr Sunil Edirisinghe is a general practitioner with many years of experience working in New Zealand and Australia. His main interests are chronic disease management, psychological management, and minor surgery.

His other interests include cricket and music. He is also a keen gourmet cook, which is something only known to his family and friends.
