Dr Almir Tanovic completed his medical degree overseas in 2001. He worked overseas for 6 years as a cardio surgery registrar and an ent register prior to settling in Australia with his family in 2007.

He spent 4 years working in hospitals across Melbourne mainly in emergency departments at Monash Health (Dandenong ED).

Dr Tanovic is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has been working in the general practice for 7 years. His special interests are cardiology, rheumatology, emergency medicine, men’s health, mental health, women’s health.

Dr Tanovic speaks fluent Bosnian and Turkish in addition to the English language.
